Parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Juneteenth; however, all parking rules and time limits still apply even when parking is free on holidays.
While some services will be closed for the holiday, others will continue to operate as usual. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will proceed as scheduled and both the Waste-to-Energy facility and County's transfer stations will remain open.
For any customer service inquiries on Juneteenth, My Spokane 311 employees will still be available via phone or online.
Meanwhile, Riverfront Park attractions such as the Looff Carrousel, Numerica SkyRide, and Numerica Skate Ribbon will remain open for visitors to enjoy. More information about these attractions can be found online. Additionally, city golf courses will have normal operations and splash pads throughout the city will also be open for families to cool off in.
