Paddy Power partners with Our Price to sponsor fictional football team Hardlypool United in their nostalgic 80s-inspired Christmas ad. Starring Danny Dyer and Eddie Hearn, the ad celebrates family traditions with humour and heart.

BRIGHTON, U.K. - Washingtoner -- Paddy Power has unveiled its highly anticipated Christmas ad, and it's a nostalgic masterpiece. Featuring Danny Dyer and Eddie Hearn, and crafted by the creative powerhouse BBH London, the ad tells the heartwarming tale of a father-to-son tradition involving an unusual yet cherished gift... a football team.

Set in the 1980s, the ad brims with charm and humour. Danny Dyer shines as both the dad and later the grandad, gifting his son a Hardlypool United football shirt emblazoned with the original iconic Our Price logo.

The partnership has stirred some conversation, with questions raised about Our Price aligning with a gambling brand. However, CEO Paul Harris is unapologetically proud of the collaboration. "Most people enjoy a flutter on big horse races or the Christmas footie," Harris remarked. "In fact, many of us behind the Our Price relaunch are partial to an occasional bet. If we weren't risk-takers, we wouldn't have taken a chance rebooting Our Price in the first place. Business is all about taking calculated chances, and this one has paid off spectacularly. We love the ad, the exposure it's brought us, and the incredible surge in traffic - it's been a great decision."
