According to Officer T. Leming, Public Information Officer for the Spokane Police Department, the department's drone unit was able to locate the vehicle and informed officers that it was traveling westbound. The vehicle eventually came to a stop near N. Normandie St. and W. Nebraska Ave.
Upon approaching the Chrysler 300 with their emergency lights activated, SPD officers attempted to make contact with the occupants of the vehicle. However, the vehicle fled from police through the neighborhood. Due to safety concerns for the community, officers quickly disengaged from pursuing the vehicle.
