The new company and website bring together discipline overviews, a global Foilers Pin Map, and are building more community resources for a fast-growing segment in watersports.
REDMOND, Wash. - Washingtoner -- Foiling Freaks, LLC has launched FoilingFreaks.com, an online destination for the growing global hydrofoiling community. The platform welcomes riders, newcomers, and industry observers to explore foiling board sports and track their evolution.
Foiling has rapidly expanded in recent years into a broad family of board sports, including wing foiling, eFoiling, kite foiling, prone foiling, downwind foiling, wake foiling, dockstarting, river foiling, cable park foiling, and more. Foiling Freaks was launched to make this complex landscape easier to navigate by categorizing resources, sharing guidance, and creating an inclusive network for everyone interested in foiling.
One of the site's core features is its "What's Foiling?" section, which introduces visitors to the different types of foiling and helps explain how the various disciplines relate to one another. The site is designed to serve both experienced riders and those just beginning to learn about the sport.

Foiling Freaks also includes the Foilers Pin Map, an interactive feature that lets foilers around the world mark their approximate location and identify the type of foiling they do. The map is intended to highlight the sport's geographic reach and diversity while helping visualize how different foiling disciplines are represented across regions.
In addition to discipline coverage and community mapping, the new platform offers resources that support learning, skill progression, and community collaboration as interest in the sport continues to grow.
"Foiling has grown far beyond any single niche, but there has not been one central place dedicated to showing the full range of the sport and the people involved in it," said Ian Lauder, Founder of Foiling Freaks, LLC. "We launched Foiling Freaks to help make the sport easier to explore and to create a stronger sense of connection across its many disciplines."
The launch introduces a business dedicated to foiling board sports media, community engagement, and specialized educational content.
