Designation streamlines procurement for state agencies, higher education institutions, and local governments
DENVER - Washingtoner -- COHN Marketing has been awarded the State of Colorado Price Agreement (SPA) for Advertising and Marketing Services through the State Purchasing and Contracts Office (SPCO). This designation places COHN among a select group of pre-vetted, state-approved vendors qualified to provide marketing, communications, and creative services to public-sector organizations within a simplified, compliant, and cost-effective procurement framework.
"Colorado's public agencies don't need another process or layer of red tape when looking for advertising and marketing services. They need partners who can deliver smart, creative solutions that stand up to scrutiny and get results. This SPA approval lets us do that work faster, without the roadblocks," said Jeff Cohn, Founder and CEO of COHN.

The approval allows Colorado state departments, universities, local governments, and eligible nonprofits to engage COHN directly without the need for a public RFP. Competitive vetting, contract terms, and pricing structures have already been established, enabling projects to launch quickly under a state-approved scope. In short, the process helps agencies move efficiently while maintaining compliance and making the most of limited resources.
The SPCO program provides a faster and more transparent way for public agencies to procure essential services. Instead of spending weeks on solicitations, internal reviews, and contract negotiations, eligible organizations can access a network of trusted partners that have already met the state's standards. The result is more efficient use of taxpayer dollars, improved accountability, and faster delivery of critical programs and campaigns.
"Our goal has always been to make marketing feel like momentum," added Cohn. "When agencies can move quickly and tell their story well, everyone in Colorado benefits."
