SEATTLE, Aug. 5, 2025 ~ Carteav, a leading company in Low-Speed Autonomous Vehicle (LSAV) technology and autonomous transportation for industrial facilities, has recently announced a major achievement. The company has received a Purchase Order (PO) from the Port of Seattle to launch a 90-day pilot program for a driverless shuttle at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) terminal garage.

According to Avinoam Barak, CEO of Carteav, this is a significant milestone not only for the company but also for the wider adoption of autonomous mobility in complex environments such as airports. He expressed his honor in working with SEA Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States, and bringing their proven autonomous technology to one of the most innovative and forward-thinking transportation hubs in the country.

Magnus Cole, Innovation Director at SEA Airport, stated that they are constantly seeking technologies that can enhance customer experience and operational efficiency at SEA. He also mentioned that travelers have shown a strong desire for more service between these two locations and this pilot program is one way to test a potential new option. The airport will assess next steps after the completion of the 90-day trial.

Eli Doron, Carteav's CTO, highlighted that SEA Airport is an excellent example of a large organization with immense potential for implementing autonomous transportation across various areas.

Carteav's technology is specifically designed for private, low-speed environments which makes it ideal for industrial campuses, logistics centers, airports, retirement villages, gated communities, and other controlled settings where traditional transit solutions may not be suitable. This project further expands Carteav's presence in the North American market and redefines the future of self-driving transportation.
