Appliance EMT Donates to Kids Motel Ministry Appliance EMT
BUFORD, Ga. - Washingtoner -- Last Saturday, Appliance EMT welcomed the staff and volunteers of Kids Motel Ministry to their Buford, GA office for a special event. The team was honored to present them with a donation totaling several thousand dollars.

The contribution was the result of a month-long pledge where Appliance EMT committed 10% of all Metro Atlanta service call fees collected throughout February 2026 to Kids Motel Ministry's mission. The funds will directly support the ministry's efforts to provide food, spiritual guidance, and community events for families residing in temporary housing across the local area.

"For us, partnering with Kids Motel Ministry isn't about corporate social responsibility or checking a box," said Valentin Pashnyak. "It's simply because it is the right thing to do. We see the incredible joy these volunteers bring to children who are facing very difficult circumstances, and we are honored to play a small part in making that happen."

The donation arrives on the heels of a highly successful Easter weekend celebration hosted by Kids Motel Ministry. During that event, volunteers shared 100 Easter baskets, Bibles, and children's books with families in local motels. The celebration featured an interactive Easter play that brought the resurrection story to life, culminating in a powerful moment where children knocked down a "tombstone wall" to celebrate the holiday.

Looking ahead, the newly donated funds will help power Kids Motel Ministry's upcoming " of July Celebration" on Venture Parkway. The ministry plans to host the outdoor holiday event on a designated grass area for all kids living in extended stay motels at Gwinnett Place Mall, providing hot dogs, chips, and drinks to everyone in the community. The celebration will also feature worship music, Bibles, and tracts, offering a day of fun and hope for children living in the surrounding motels.
