Aircastle Delivers the First of Six 737MAX9 Aircraft to United Airlines

STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 9, 2024 ~ Aircastle Limited, a leading aircraft leasing company, has recently announced the delivery of a Boeing 737MAX9 aircraft to United Airlines, Inc. This marks the first of six new 737MAX9s that Aircastle will be delivering to United in the years 2024 and 2025. All six aircraft will be equipped with CFM Leap engines and will be delivered from Boeing's production facilities in Seattle, Washington.

The addition of these fuel-efficient aircraft aligns with United's mission of Good Leads the Way℠ and will expand their fleet of modern and sustainable planes. Aircastle's Chief Executive Officer, Mike Inglese, expressed his pride in continuing their long-standing relationship with United by providing them with the most fuel-efficient new aircraft available.

United's Vice President and Treasurer, Eric Harder, also commented on the partnership between the two companies. He stated that they are grateful for Aircastle's support as they work towards modernizing their fleet and executing their long-term growth strategy.

This delivery is a significant step towards the global aviation industry's transition to more sustainable aircraft solutions. Both Aircastle and United are committed to playing their part in this transition by providing customers with state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly planes.
