ATLANTA - Washingtoner -- NIL Club has added Athlete Merch to its platform infrastructure, expanding into athlete-led commerce and giving college athletes a new way to earn through personalized merchandise storefronts on AthleteMerch.com. Powered by YOKE, early access is available exclusively to NIL Club app members, with broader public access planned for later this year.

The launch builds on a strong stretch of growth and product expansion for YOKE's NIL Club platform. The platform now serves more than 650,000 registered student-athletes across more than 2,000 colleges and universities and 20,000+ groups and teams in all 50 states.

Athlete Merch gives athletes a direct path to launch custom storefronts tied to their own name, image, and likeness, while YOKE handles design, production, shipping, and payouts. The new platform adds merchandise to NIL Club's existing earning channels, which already include fan subscriptions and brand deals.

"YOKE has spent the last 4 years building a robust infrastructure for athlete monetization," said Mick Assaf, CEO and co-founder of NIL Club. "Athlete Merch is the next step. We've already helped athletes earn through engaging with fans and partnering with brands. Now we're giving them another scalable way to turn fan support into income."

The launch comes as NIL enters a more mature phase. In 2025, YOKE introduced Brand Deals, allowing athletes to browse and accept performance-based campaigns directly within the NIL Club app. More than 50,000 athletes completed at least one NIL partnership through that feature within its first 90 days, underscoring strong demand for platform-driven opportunities.

Athlete Merch arrives at a strategic moment as more athletes seek practical, repeatable ways to earn without relying on one-off deals. By adding merchandise to NIL Club's growing ecosystem, YOKE is expanding the ways athletes can monetize their personal brands while building on a platform that already connects them with fans and brand opportunities.

With Athlete Merch, NIL Club continues to broaden its role in the market, giving athletes more ways to participate in a growing, fan-driven economy.

All Athlete Merch storefronts are built to fully comply with NCAA and state NIL guidelines, giving athletes full control while YOKE handles the rest. Athletes can get early access now in the NIL Club app.

Fans can visit AthleteMerch.com to support their favorite student-athletes.
