MOUNT VERNON, Wash. - Washingtoner -- WESTERN WASHINGTON — The Western Washington Coalition for Life (WWCFL) is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming 40 Days for Life Spring 2026 campaign, running from February 18th through March 29th. This internationally coordinated effort unites believers in a focused mission to end abortion through prayer, fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful, 40-day vigil outside local abortion facilities.

As an ecumenical Christian organization, WWCFL serves as a coordinating hub for pro-life efforts across the region. During this campaign, volunteers from diverse backgrounds will stand as a prayerful witness to the sanctity of human life. The vigil is a peaceful presence intended to offer hope to those in crisis and to be a visible sign of the "hands and feet of Christ" in the public square.

The Spring 2026 campaign will feature local vigils in several Western Washington communities, including:
  • North Seattle, Everett, and Lynnwood
  • Tacoma, Renton, and Bremerton
  • Mount Vernon and Vancouver

WWCFL invites all individuals, families, and church groups who share a vision for a culture of life to participate. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for specific vigil hours, choosing times that fit their schedules to ensure a consistent, prayerful presence throughout the 40-day period.
