~ Tacoma, Wash. - On April 24, 2024, Mayor Victoria Woodards announced that she will be hosting a "Conversations With the Mayor" event on May 1 at Sofi's Corner. The event will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 AM and is open to all residents and businesses in the community.

The purpose of this informal gathering is to engage and connect with community members as part of the City of Tacoma's ongoing efforts. Mayor Woodards expressed her excitement for the event, stating that she enjoys engaging face-to-face with community members as it allows for a deeper personal connection.
