~ Spokane City Council Members Zack Zappone and Kitty Klitzke will be hosting a town hall community conversation on Thursday, March 26 at 5 p.m. The event, which will take place at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, aims to discuss the importance of funding sidewalks and the various sources of that funding.
During the event, attendees can expect to hear from Council Members Zappone and Klitzke as well as other city officials such as Public Works Director Marlene Feist, Code Enforcement Director Luis Garcia, Transportation Director Jon Snyder, and Council Members from Districts 1 and 2. The discussion will cover topics such as sidewalk inventory, reporting and repairing processes, maintenance, and the Transportation Commission's Sidewalk Funding Report.

The last 30 minutes of the event will be dedicated to a Q&A session with attendees. This is an opportunity for community members to voice their concerns and ask questions about sidewalk funding in their district.
