Congresswoman Diane Watson is one of the impactful women who will be honored at the International Women's Day Gala for 2025 at the Prestigious Taglyan Complex in the Heart of Hollywood, CA

LOS ANGELES - Washingtoner -- The International Women's Day Gala, commemorating the global celebration of women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements, will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the prestigious Taglyan Complex, located at 1201 Vine Street, Los Angeles, CA 90038. The event will run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and promises to be an unforgettable evening of inspiration, entertainment, and community support.

Originating over a century ago, International Women's Day has grown from a gathering of more than a million supporters in 1908 into a worldwide movement advocating for gender equality. This year's gala will feature a red carpet reception, hors d'oeuvres, and a happy hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, setting the stage for an evening filled with celebration and purpose. Attendees will enjoy a five-course dinner accompanied by live music, culminating in a themed fashion show titled "The Golden Era of Beauty," showcasing the designs of esteemed creators including Project Runway winner Ken Barlis, Will Franco, and fashion designer and creative director Tommy Le.

The evening will also include the prestigious Women's Inspiration Awards, honoring exceptional women who have made significant contributions to their communities and beyond. This year's honorees include Congresswoman Diane Watson, pageant producer Virgelia Villegas, and American martial artist and actress Cynthia Rothrock, among others.

In addition to recognizing women's achievements, the gala will support various charities dedicated to assisting survivors and victims of the recent fires in the Los Angeles area. This important initiative underscores the event's commitment to extending the celebration of women's accomplishments into meaningful community support.

Sponsors for this year's event include doTerra, Craig Shelley Beverly Hills, Duy Beck Dance Company, and Discover Magazine, all of whom play a vital role in making this celebration possible. The International Women's Day Gala serves not only as a tribute to the resilience and achievements of women worldwide but also as a call to action to address pressing community needs. By dedicating resources to aid fire survivors and victims, the event transforms a celebration of women's strength into a beacon of hope and solidarity during challenging times.
