IDpack v4 redefines cloud issuance by unifying its core architecture for maximum efficiency. Featuring a next-gen print engine, UV panel support, and enhanced access control, v4 delivers enterprise-grade power within a streamlined professional environment.

MONTREAL - Washingtoner -- IDpack announced the launch of IDpack v4, the most significant update to its cloud-based issuance platform. The release represents a major architectural evolution driven by user feedback and a commitment to professional-grade performance.

Returning to What Works: Designer Module
When IDpack in the Cloud launched in 2020, it introduced a separated "Template and Project" workflow. While innovative, many users preferred the unified structure that made IDpack for Windows a trusted desktop standard for over two decades.

IDpack v4 reintroduces the Designer and Producer Modules, unifying the Template Editor and Project Manager into a streamlined environment. Users can design and configure projects in Designer and manage records in Producer, restoring the familiar "One Project" workflow.

A More Powerful Creative Suite
The upgraded Design Editor includes built-in image filters, a checkbox input type for dynamic text, and enhanced barcode objects with customizable background colors for optimal scan contrast.

IDpack v4 supports multiple QR code types on a single badge and compatibility with high-density Data Matrix formats.

Enterprise Performance and Security
IDpack v4 delivers major core enhancements:
  1. Next-Generation Print Engine: Supports multi-page output, Rasterize PDF processing, and Gamma adjustment for professional color accuracy.
  2. High-Security Printing: Built-in UV panel printing support for Fargo HDP5000 and HDP6600 printers enables tamper-resistant card production.
  3. The Print Center: Redesigned as a centralized Service Bureau for managing badge production across departments or clients.
  4. Blazing-Fast Performance: SQL optimizations and updated libraries make v4 the fastest and most responsive version.
A New Invitation to the Cloud
"We heard our customers loud and clear," says the IDpack team. "With v4, we've combined cloud flexibility with the workflow professionals have relied on for 20 years. If you've tried IDpack in the Cloud before, we invite you to experience the new standard."
