Tacoma: Update Third Homicide Arrest – 2100 block of N 30th St

~ In the early hours of August 7, 2026, Tacoma Police were called to the 2100 block of N. 30th St. for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite their immediate efforts to save him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident was quickly classified as a homicide and detectives and Crime Scene Technicians were called in to investigate. As they worked on the scene, officers received information that another adult male had arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Through their investigation, detectives determined that this individual was connected to the shooting and had probable cause for his arrest.

After being discharged from the hospital, the suspect was taken into custody and booked into Pierce County Jail on charges of first-degree murder and robbery.

As the investigation continued, detectives identified a second suspect in connection with the homicide. On August 12, 2026, a juvenile male was arrested without incident and booked into Remann Hall on charges of first-degree murder.

Further developments in the case led to the arrest of a third suspect on August 18, 2026. The adult male was taken into custody and booked into Pierce County Jail on charges of first-degree murder.

The Tacoma Police Department has stated that this is an ongoing investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward. The department can be contacted through their designated channels.

The community is reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities as they work towards bringing justice for the victim and their loved ones.
