~ Tacoma police have arrested four people in connection with a fatal shooting in the city's North End.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of North 30th Street at about 2:03 a.m. on Aug. 7, 2026, after receiving a report of a shooting. They found an adult man with apparent gunshot wounds and began lifesaving efforts. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives and crime scene technicians investigated the death as a homicide. During the investigation, police learned that another adult man had arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Detectives determined he was connected to the shooting and arrested him after he was released from the hospital. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

A juvenile male was arrested without incident on Aug. 12 and booked into Remann Hall on suspicion of first-degree murder. An adult male was arrested Aug. 18 and booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

On Sept. 30, detectives, assisted by the department's Special Investigations Unit and SWAT, arrested a fourth adult male without incident in Kent. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

The investigation remains active. Tacoma police are asking anyone with information to contact the department.
