~ On January 6, 2026, District 2 Council Member Sarah Rumbaugh was officially sworn in for her second term with the Tacoma City Council. This comes after being elected in November 2021 and re-elected in 2025.
Council Member Rumbaugh has a clear vision for Tacoma, one that focuses on creating a more vibrant city that supports business growth and the creation of living wage jobs. As Chair of the Community Vitality and Safety Committee and a member of the Government Performance and Finance Committee, she is well-equipped to tackle these issues.
