~ The American Rescue Plan Act has opened the 2023 Youth Behavioral Health Grant, which will provide up to $1,000,000 in capital dollars to assist in a construction project or expansion of an existing facility. This project is intended to expand services to at-risk youth that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
The grant application deadline is Friday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m., and applicants are encouraged to visit the Spokane ARPA website for more information on how to apply. Additionally, an optional workshop will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 2:30 – 4 p.m., both virtually and in-person at the Central Library Event Room B for those seeking technical assistance.

Brian Coddington, Communications Director for the grant program, stated "This Notice of Funding Availability will award a grant up to $1,000,000 to provide 'last dollars' needed to complete a project or expansion. These dollars may not be used as a federal match to a project."
