~ On December 23rd, 2024, the Spokane Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the intersection of Monroe and Montgomery. According to Officer Daniel Strassenberg, Public Information Officer for SPD, the victim was sleeping on some steps when two male suspects approached him. The suspects demanded his belongings and then proceeded to assault him before fleeing on foot.
During the investigation, surveillance footage from a nearby gas station was obtained, revealing images of the suspects. Both are described as being in their 20s and wearing red hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled up. The suspects were last seen heading towards the gas station after the robbery.

The SPD is asking for the public's help in identifying these suspects. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Check at 509.456.2233 and reference case number 2024-20263092. Several photos related to the incident have also been released by authorities for identification purposes.
