Spokane: SPD Asking for Public Assistance to Help Identify Robbery Suspect

~ In the early hours of December 25th, 2024, the Spokane Police Department received a report of an armed robbery at the Days Inn motel located at 3033 N Division. According to Officer Daniel Strassenberg, Public Information Officer for SPD, the incident occurred just before 4am.

The suspect, described as a pale white male between 5-03 and 5-04 in height and weighing approximately 130-140 pounds, entered the motel and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled the scene on a white or silver bicycle before officers arrived.

The suspect was wearing a black zip-up style hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and Nike Air Max 90's athletic shoes. He was also wearing a unique Gucci balaclava with green/red/green coloring and a stripe near the left eye.

SPD has released several photos of the suspect taken from surveillance footage at the motel. They are urging anyone with information about this incident or the suspect to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 and reference case number 2024-20264414.

The photos can be viewed on SPD's website or social media pages. The department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating this individual.
