~ Over the Fourth of July weekend, the Spokane Fire Department's Special Investigation Unit reported three significant fires caused by fireworks, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage. According to Justin de Ruyter, Spokane Fire PIO, the fires occurred at the 2900 block of East Diamond Avenue, Holy Names Court, and the 2000 block of West 10th Avenue.
