~ Spokane Fire Department Seeks Public's Help in Identifying Arson Suspect
The Spokane Fire Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an arson fire that occurred early this morning. According to Justin de Ruyter, PIO for the department, the incident took place at approximately 12:15 a.m. at Lil Bit of Top Knot Grooming on 1028 West Shannon Avenue.
Surveillance footage captured an individual setting fire to an evergreen bush at the southwest corner of the building. Thanks to the quick response of firefighters, the fire was contained and prevented from spreading into the interior of the building. However, damages to the exterior are estimated at $15,000.

In hopes of finding more information about this incident and identifying the suspect, authorities have released two photos related to the case. If anyone has any information or recognizes the individual in the photos, please contact fire investigators at 509-625-7120.
