~ At Monday's Legislative Session, members of the audience repeatedly violated Council Open Forum rules, leading to Council President Lori Kinnear's decision to recess the meeting.
According to City Council Communications Director Lisa Gardner, Kinnear had reminded public participants of their mutual duty of respect and applicable sections of Council rules regarding decorum at the start of Open Forum. Despite several attempts to manage points of order and maintain decorum in chambers, Kinnear was met with defiance and decided to recess the meeting.

After consulting with the Chief of Police and the City Attorney, Kinnear adjourned the meeting until a future Legislative Session. All Legislative items from Monday's Council meeting will likely be considered at that time.
Council rules are stated in the public-facing agenda for all to review.
