Weekender Artist Mumu Fresh After 6 Media LLC
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Washingtoner -- The Weekender Festival in partnership with the Harrisburg Housing Authority, Levels Ready Entertainment, Hilton UPMC, Giant, Dauphin County Commissioners, and UPMC, is pleased to announce Grammy-nominated artist Mumu Fresh will be co-headlining The Weekender Festival's Block Party August 9, 2024, at Hall Manor Activity Field, 100 Hall Manor PL, Harrisburg, PA. 17104.

The Weekender is an annual music and arts festival that brings the Harrisburg community and surrounding areas together for a weekend of entertainment.

Mumu Fresh, known for her powerful vocals and socially conscious lyrics, will take the stage to energize the crowd with her infectious blend of soul, hip-hop, and R&B.

"Mumu Fresh is among the most versatile artists in the industry. She receives high marks in every category. Singing, check! Spoken word, check! Lyricism, check! Delivery and style, check! All the greats know her name because she is the real deal. Additional Block Party performances will include bachata duo Liza + Willie, neo-blues singer-songwriter AJ Ghent and His Singing Guitar, R&B songstress Kennedy Ryon, and a surprise artist who will be announced soon.

Other highlights incorporated into the family-friendly festival are Mardi Gras cuisine, vendors, DJ sets, a second line band performance, and interactive games and activities for adults and children.

This free festival is a two-day event, and the Block Party will usher in The NetWorth Summit, August 10, 2024, which comprises programming on networking, finance, careers, and entrepreneurship that empowers attendees with knowledge allowing them to elevate their lives. The NetWorth Summit will be held at Foose Elementary School 1301 Sycamore St, Harrisburg, PA 17104 with a keynote speaker.
