Now available to order is a new Aviation Art Print Preparing For Action By Keith Burns.

PUYALLUP, Wash. - Washingtoner -- Award-winning artist Keith Burns depicts a Typhoon from the 2nd Tactical Air Force, refueled and re-armed, preparing for another death-defying, low-level mission to strike fear and destruction into the enemy in his dramatic artwork Preparing for Action.

Few aircraft in WWII compared to the rugged Hawker Typhoon's role as a lethal air-to-ground attack aircraft, with its place in history etched in the brutal skies of Normandy following the Allied invasion on D-Day. When the once-all-conquering Panzer divisions threatened to obstruct the advancing Allied troops, the Typhoons were there to turn the tables on the enemy, unleashing lethal cannon and rocket fire on anything that moved.

The Supreme Allied Commander, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, lavished praise on the rocket-firing Typhoon aircraft of the Second Tactical Air Force, writing that the 'primary credit in breaking the enemy's spearhead must go to the rocket-firing Typhoon aircraft of the Second Tactical Air Force.'

This New Aviation Art print is being issued with a unique Certificate guaranteeing its authenticity.
