After being under contract in 2024, two properties adjoining the Historic Rosario Resort on the Orcas Island become available to the market again.

ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. - Washingtoner -- Four Island Holdings LLC and Rosario Signal LLC are advancing plans to bring to market two prime waterfront properties on Cascade Bay in East Sound (totaling over 13 total acres) adjoining the historic Rosario Resort on Orcas Island, WA. The properties, which are part of the Rosario Resort approved master plan for future development, contain three existing condominium buildings featuring 16 condominium units, as well as multiple new development sites that are approved for various residential options and/or vacation rental units. The development plan provides for the potential of developing a total of 37 condominium units or up to 117 individual hospitality rental units on the sites being re-released to the market.

"The property owners had planned that these properties would remain part of the Rosario Resort property's next chapter. However, this has not happened so the property owner has decided to move forward with the sale of these properties to an independent buyer for redevelopment," said Scott Cameron with Land Advisors Organization. "This represents an unprecedented opportunity for a developer to create both first and second homes for a growing market segment seeking a lock and leave island home with the option for short term rentals."

Orcas Island is located approximately 70 miles from Seattle and is a favorite of locals for its scenic beauty and mild weather. The Washington State Ferry serves Orcas Island year-round along with sea plane and fixed wing plane access.

The property owners, Four Island Holdings LLC and Rosario Signal LLC are represented by Land Advisors Organization's brokers Scott Cameron and Mathis Jessen and The Agency Seattle's broker Christopher Peacock.
