Detectives investigating apparent homicide after body discovered in vacant house
On 11-4-23, at approximately 10:30AM, SPD responded to a vacant residence near E Lyons Ave and N Napa St in Northeast Spokane on the report of a deceased person found inside. Officers located an adult male victim as well as signs indicating the death was the result of homicide.

SPD's Major Crimes Unit detectives, as well as the Spokane County Forensic Unit, responded to the scene. After a search warrant was obtained, the scene was processed for evidence. The investigation is on-going, and information about the victim will be released by the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office at a later date.
