NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Washingtoner -- Music City is about to sound a little more classical.

Beginning December 14, the 2025 Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition will welcome some of the most extraordinary young pianists from around the globe, all converging in Nashville for a week of electrifying performances, masterful artistry, and world-class musical talent. Hosted at Lipscomb University's Collins Auditorium, this year's competition promises to be the most exciting yet.

An international jury panel, led under the guidance of Competition Chairman Graciella Kowalczyk, will preside over the event. These distinguished artists and educators bring global expertise and a shared commitment to supporting the next generation of pianists.

This year also highlights something uniquely Nashville: the extraordinary generosity of the community. Families across the city have volunteered to open their homes to host competitors, creating meaningful cultural exchanges and offering young musicians a warm, personal welcome to Music City. To make the experience even more special, the Nashville Predators are providing game tickets to all participants, giving competitors a truly Nashville-style welcome and a taste of the city's vibrant sports culture.
