WASHINGTON - Washingtoner -- Claudette Milner is the author of the Christian series Forgiven of Our Transgressions. The series is diverse economically, and racially. The series begins with Forgiven of Our Transgressions: Miya Finds Love. It includes Forgiven of Our Transgressions: Miya, God's Plan, and Forgiven of Our Transgressions: Miya Returns to South Korea as well as four other  editions.. The subseries is located in Atlanta GA. Within this sub-series Ms. Milner uses the opportunity to educate her readers outlying the systematic roadblock for young women that are interested in the sciences, and the institutionalized effort to eliminate candidates that qualify for AP classes because they live in poverty or have no permanent address. The sub-series includes engineers that are Hispanic, Caucasian, and African American. Together they work together to break down financial and racial barriers through mentorship programs. They combine efforts with teachers, the church, and the community.
