Strategic agreement expands bioprocessing equipment (SFC systems) availability to the Pharma industry across Europe after Novasep exited the technology years ago.
PITTSBURGH - Washingtoner -- Thar Process, a leader in supercritical CO2 extraction and purification technology (SFE and SFC), today announced a partnership with ExtrateX, a premier French specialist in supercritical fluid systems, to represent and distribute its advanced SFC systems throughout Europe. This provides clients with comprehensive sales and technical support in pharmaceutical, biotech, and specialty chemical labs across the region.

Thar Process's Isolator™ SFC systems are designed for high-resolution separation and purification bioprocessing applications, including pharmaceutical APIs and excipients, fermented products, peptides (GLP-1s, etc.) and natural products like omega-3s and cannabinoids. The technology offers advantages in speed, efficiency, and environmental sustainability compared to conventional separation methods.
