The Executive Director of Against Child Trafficking, Europe, will keynote at a historic first-time educational event in Tacoma, WA. Against Child Trafficking in the USA reserved space at the Washington State History Museum for this special occasion. Registration Deadline June 9th at Eventbrite. What do you want to know about international, transracial, late-discovery, or domestic adoption? Now is your chance to ask adult adoptees. Author of Adoption History starts the 9 - 5 educational program.

TACOMA, Wash. - Washingtoner -- Against Child Trafficking in the USA and adult adoptees are uniting for a special all-day educational event called an Adoption Trafficking Awareness Symposium, Saturday, June 18th, 2022. The keynote speaker is field investigator, Arun Dohle, Executive Director of Against Child Trafficking from Europe, a stolen child from India to Germany for overseas adoption in the mid-1970s. Mr. Dohle upholds child rights rooted in international law, and will speak on "The Intersection Between International Adoption and Child Trafficking."

Other special guest speakers included are international adoptees from around the US, South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe to discuss adoption from diverse perspectives and personal experiences. Some adoptees have been featured on ABC Nightline, Oprah, Dan Rather, NBC News, and BBC Radio. Some were falsely labeled as orphans to be routinely processed for international adoption. You will also have the opportunity to meet Tyler Graf, adopted from Chile to the United States, and recently interviewed by Juju Chang on ABC News. His Chilean mother was told he had died at birth, but rather he was processed for intercountry adoption without her knowledge. Together, adult adoptees offer the inside scoop on all forms of the adoption practice. Program to begin by the author of Adoption: What You Should Know.
