TUCSON, Ariz. - Washingtoner -- Home2 Suites by Hilton, part of Hilton's All Suites portfolio, announced today the "topping off" of its new hotel in Tucson, Arizona, signifying that the final beam has been placed and that the structural framework is complete.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport will open at 6555 South Bay Colony Drive, near Tucson International Airport, just 10 minutes from the Kino Sports Complex and the Davis-Monthan Airforce Base.  This area of Tucson features many historical sites such as the Pima Air & Space Museum and Mission San Xavier del Bac along with an abundance of hiking & biking trails. The four-story, 123-suite hotel, developed and owned by Texas Western Hospitality, is projected to open in March 2021.

This topping-off ceremony marks a milestone in construction at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport, and it will provide a new and exciting option for both business and leisure travelers.

When completed, the new Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport will offer all-suite accommodations with fully-equipped kitchens and modular furniture, providing guests the flexibility to customize their suite to their style and preference. The hotel will feature complimentary Internet, inviting communal spaces, a cocktail lounge in the lobby, and trademark Home2 Suites amenities such as Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry, and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, and the Inspired Table, a complimentary breakfast. The Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport will also be pet-friendly.

As Home2 Suites by Hilton responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, some services and amenities will be adjusted in order to adhere to health and safety guidance from the local government. To emphasize our commitment to the health and safety of guests, the property is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program with Lysol Protection to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection. The elevated processes and Team Member training have been developed with RB, maker of Lysol and Dettol, to help Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay from check-in to check-out. New standards for Hilton CleanStay that have been rolled out include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to indicate that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, as well as flexible housekeeping options.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport will participate in Hilton's award-winning customer loyalty program, Hilton Honors. Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose nearly any combination of Points and money to book a stay, an exclusive member discount, free standard Wi-Fi, as well as digital amenities that are available exclusively through the industry-leading Hilton Honors app, where Honors members can check-in, choose their room, and access their room using a Digital Key.
