John Beyer Music, LTD will release Benjamin Hey!'s heartfelt visual during Gun Violence Awareness Month on Friday, June 3rd.

NEW YORK - Washingtoner -- "Ra-tat-tat-tat" the music video will be available on Youtube on Friday, June 3rd.

"Ra-ta-tat-tat" is a conscious hip-hop record that commands your attention with its jarring gunfire opening. The song is a plea to stop the gun violence that is plaguing our country.

Benjamin Hey! (Laverne Cox, Marvel's The Punisher, NYFW) co-wrote "Ra-tat-tat-tat" with collaborator, John B. Beyer for the John Beyer Music, LTD imprint.  The song was co-produced with the help of music producer, Doobie Duke Sims (Salt n Pepa, Shinobi Ninja, Spike Lee).

"I wish I didn't have to write this record. Gun violence is a rising problem in the United States. As a sensitive artist, I'm affected by this unnecessary violence that keeps happening way too often. My collaborator and I also didn't want to just point out the problem. We wanted to offer what we thought was a solution."

This song is available now to be streamed on all digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music & Tidal.
